New Heights Christian Academy (formerly College Heights Christian School) was established in 1978 as a private, non-denominational, not-for-profit school serving grades K–8. Beginning with the 1979–80 school year, one high school grade was added each year until the first senior class graduated in 1983.

Over the years, our facilities have been expanded multiple times to meet the needs of a growing student body:

1980 – First addition with seven classrooms, a library, offices, and a gymnasium.

1990 – Church expansion provided four high school classrooms, a kindergarten area, and more offices.

1994 – Three classrooms and a science lab were completed in January. That summer, two modular buildings with four classrooms were added, followed by another modular in spring 1995.

1998 – A major expansion included new kindergarten space, high school classrooms, a computer lab, and music rooms for band and choir.

2003 – Six additional classrooms and a conference room were completed.

2010 – Five new classrooms were added, including a state-of-the-art technology center and art studio.

2019 – Reorganization and remodeling of facilities provided three new classrooms.

2021—A remodel of our high school science lab, along with a new lecture room, was completed.

2024 - The school name changed from College Heights Christian School to New Heights Christian Academy to better represent the churches in our student body.

Enrollment has grown from 78 students in grades K–8 to approximately 600 students from preschool through 12th grade, reflecting the ongoing demand for Christ-centered education in our community.

More than 70 area churches are represented by our students, staff, faculty, and school board members, a testament to the broad community support that has been vital to our growth and ministry.

New Heights Christian Academy is accredited by Cognia and has been a proud member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1997.
